Never heard of this "fruit" before. We love to get our little hands on reputable suppliers in order to import this. We love to experiment on this mysterious fruit with various food products. Can any one please help us.

, Fiji sorry, no i/we cannot... it is very hard to export live fruits or seeds to other countries... hopefully you can find a supplier in another country who may assist you... Dave Sacerdote finally starts hacking away at the thing (durian)Unknown 1997 - Hartsville, SC Picnic Hey, I was there when this happened. In fact, I was about nine.

OH MY GOODNESS!!!! Just browsing online and found a reference to the "Cleek Cabin" near Asheboro. My parents were good friends of Dr. Thornton Cleek and his wife, Martha. I spent many happy hours at this cabin as a child, back in the mid 60. One of the things I remembered were the curtains hanging around the bunk beds, but in my time, they were sort of a red/navy plaid. Oh the fun we had!!! Im so jealous!

Hi Nancy! We're glad we could bring back some memories for you ;) I worked with Dr. Witt who made these films, in his lab. He was accepted by NASA to have permission to send a spider on a space project to see if it could spin a web without gravity...they did! Peter Witt tested new drugs on spiders to see if the new drug altered the web dramatically or not at all. A visiting scientist planned to go around the world to find out the chemical composition of the web because it is stronger than steel, the stongest metal in the world. He was going to invent a metal so strong to use in bullit proof jackets.

, United Kingdom Thanks for the additional information, Wendy. I'm sure that we can learn a great many things from spiders and insects. |
"pretty good piloting"?? That has to be one of the biggest understatements of the decade!! That is some fantastic flying, in my humble opinion!

, USA I agree with you wholeheartedly! That is one of the main reasons why I (finally) got it put into the gallery. I hope that you and everyone else enjoy watching it as much as I do! Waldo, are these sweet piquante peppers or pepperdews?? If so, how can i get my hands on some seeds. Does anybody now a company or any way that i can get some seeds posted to me in Australia or a company that sells them within Australia. Thanks for your time, Gray

Nice! What is that in the distance on the right? It almost looks like a glass of some sort.

Yes, that is a tumbler with a nice Vodka and CranGrape drink. Excellent for relaxing with while shooting some random artistic photos ;) Now that is a very interesting picture. Excellent reflections and shape.
